Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearings are available with open ends and also with a closed end. They comprise of a thin walled drawn outer ring and a needle roller and cage assembly. The open ended style can also be supplied as a full compliment version (without cage) for greater load carrying capacity.

The majority of bearings are single row designs though there are a limited number of sizes available in a double row format. Drawn cup needle roller bearings with open ends and with closed end are available in open and sealed versions.

Due to the thin-walled outer drawn cup and the absence of an inner ring, drawn cup needle roller bearings with open ends and with closed ends have an extremely low radial section height. They have very high load carrying capacity, are suitable for high speeds and are exceptionally easy to fit.

Drawn cup needle roller bearings are mounted with an interference fit in the housing bore. Therefore, shoulders or snap rings are not required to locate the bearing axially so the design of the housing bore is simple and can be produced economically.
