Taperlock Bushes are a tapered, non-flanged, split bushing that utilise set screws to tighten them to the shaft. Once tightened they provide an excellent clamping force to the shaft.

The bushes are used in pulleys, sprockets, couplings and also bolt-on and weld-on hubs. They increase the clamping force over standard bored-to-size products that only use a keyway and set screw to lock onto the shaft.

Taperlock bushes are very easy to assemble and disassemble and are an economical yet effective solution when fixing to a shaft.

Our Bolt-on-Hubs and Weld-on-Hubs are designed for use with our taperlock bush range. They provide a convenient means of securing fan rotors, impellers, agitators and other devices which must be firmly fixed to a shaft.
